Viessmann have extended their warranty options of their Viessmann Vitodens range of domestic boilers. Giving Viessmann customers the reassurance that if their boiler breaks down we will be there to help. At no extra costs.

As a trained Viessmann installed and valued partner, Alexandra Heating Services, are able to undertake warranty work on behalf of Viessmann and are always happy to help.

Viessmann Vitodens 050-W

Provided with a 7 year standard warranty for Viessmann trained installers, however, new Viessmann extended warranty is now available! So you can now increase the Vitodens 050-W by 3 years. Providing a total 10 year warranty for just £120.00.

Viessmann Vitodens 100-W

Provided with a 5 year standard warranty for Viessmann trained installers, however, new Viessmann extended warranty is now available! So you can now increase the Vitodens 100-W by 3 years, 5 years or a further 7 years. Providing a total 12 year warranty for just £180.00.

Viessmann Vitodens 111-W

Provided with a 5 year standard warranty for Viessmann trained installers, however, new Viessmann extended warranty is now available! So you can now increase the Vitodens 100-W by 3 years, 5 years or a further 7 years. Providing a total 12 year warranty for just £180.00.

Out with the old and in with the new. Another new Viessmann Vitodens 200-W boiler installed and another happy customer in Abbotts Ann, Andover.

We removed an old boiler and cylinder, as the customer had concerns about storing the water in the loft. For instance the damage the water could cause if it were ever to leak.

Having experienced issues with the the old boiler, our customer from Abbotts Ann, Andover decided it was time for its replacement. So it was out with the old and in with the new!

Technical Information:

We, therefore installed a Viessmann Vitodens 200-W B2KF 26kW combination boiler, complete with horizontal flue and weather compensation. As with all of our installation we carried out a powerflush of the system. Along with the installation of a Spirotech magnetic filter to protect the boiler from debris which appears over time within all heating systems. The Viessmann Vitodens boilers have been voted Which? best buy for the last 4 years. Showing that they are loved by consumer and installer alike.

Weather Compensation:

The Viessmann 200-W is fully weather compensated, which is amazing Viessmann technology giving the boiler the ability to measure the outside temperature and adjust the boiler output accordingly. The weather compensation ensures that the radiators will feel warm, but won’t get very hot and then cool, meaning you have a steady temperature throughout. Meaning huge savings on running costs, which can be up to 15%. Not to mention the importance on being more eco-friendly.

The Viessmann 200-W 26kW combination boiler also delivers 13 litres of water a minute. Which given a standard shower needs 9 litres, gives ample hot water. With the removal of the cylinder the customer also gained more space in the cupboard.

Viessmann offer a 5 year manufacturer parts and labour warranty as standard for complete piece of mind. With options to extend the warranty to 12 years if desired.

We are delighted with the work done by AHS. Their engineers are a pleasure to deal with and took great care to ensure that the installation is as neat as possible. This is the second time that we have used AHS and will certainly use them again in future requirements.

The new Vitodens 100-W & Vitodens 111-W from Viessmann, are Hydrogen ready for the network when in place. Viessmann are know in the market place for their years of experience and innovation. Also known for the importance given to the quality of their product and rigorous checks. Giving their wall mounted boilers the Which? best buy for many years. This is due to the boilers performance, reliability and longevity too.

AHS Saves the Wedding Day

The big day for a wedding in Stratford Tony, Salisbury was looming with much excitement and anticipation, so time for one more check through the list:

  • Invitations – Sent.
  • Catering – Ready.
  • House – Clean and tidy.
  • Lawn – Cut.
  • Gardening – Done . . . do we need more balloons and flowers?

But suddenly there’s a BIG problem.  No one had checked the swimming pool and it was COLD!

With only a few days before the wedding and guests looking forward to a refreshing swim in the pool, you can imagine the distress.  A quick call to Alexandra Heating Services, and shortly afterwards with an engineer visit, he had diagnosed the problem.  All options were considered, but the conclusion was the swimming pool boiler couldn’t be fixed. The bad news had to be delivered that the swimming pool boiler needed to be replaced.

The Techy bit:

Alexandra Heating Services has designed a swimming pool solution based on the award winning and which best buy Viessmann condensing boiler technology, coupled to a heat exchanger with titanium internals and a Poolsmart plus controller.  Designed to run more efficiently (Viessmann boilers can run up 98% efficiency) and with excellent durability and longevity (thanks to Viessmanns’ German engineering and the titanium rods within the pool heat exchanger).  Our customer decided to have the AHS solution installed over and above the normal contenders, such as Certikin.

After a concentrated effort by AHS, our heating engineers had the Viessmann swimming pool installation up and running.  With a day to spare before the ceremony.  The wedding went smoothly and even the sun shone – a happy ending all round.

Our delighted customer, based in Stratford Tony, Salisbury, Wiltshire, kindly sent us a picture of wedding guests enjoying the pool.

That was all 1 year ago (May 2018) and so we asked, have the benefits materialised?  To quote our lovely customer: “It is too early to tell if the running costs have reduced, but I’d be very surprised if they haven’t. The water certainly heats up a lot faster, which is a considerable advantage.”
