Hot and Cold Water Systems Disinfection/Chlorination

AHS can carry water system and tank cleaning and chlorination to ensure the control of legionella.

Bacteria growth could be encouraged by rust, sludge and scale deposit in your water system and equipment. We use specialist equipment for an effective chlorination service helping cold water storage tanks, pipes, filters and spray sources remain scale and bacteria-free complying with HSG274 ACoP L8 and COSHH regulations.

It is a legal requirement that any new private water supply pipes are commissioned before they are connected to mains water services. We can provide disinfection certificates and full UKAS microbiology results 7 days after from the laboratory and all work carried out to the BS8558 standards.
